Fire Prevention
The Leadville Fire Department has a fire
prevention program.
We do company inspections of businesses and
public buildings on a non-fee basis. The
information we gather during these inspections allows us to better serve you
should an emergency arise. These
are fire prevention inspections, not code enforcement activities.
We also provide the following:
- Residential safety inspections upon request
- Fire safety plan review for new construction
- Woodstove inspections in the home
- Self inspection program for businesses
